Lost Magic with Brian Moses and a Christmas-ish song
Delighted to say that ‘Lost Magic’ with Brian Moses at The Stables Theatre last week was a great success. It was a sellout, we had a great time, and got really good feedback from the audience.
The theatre was a joy to work with too- special thanks to floor manager Frank for making it all so easy.
It was sort of close to Christmas, so I wrote a sort-of Christmas song for the event. I recorded this version on the morning after the gig. It’s a song about a polar bear who is somehow stranded in Hastings trying to live a life far from his arctic home. I tried to get a really dreamy, wintery atmosphere.
…and this is what the gig was all about:
I did the cover for Brian’s wonderful best of collection so we thought we’d team up and do a gig together as we both perform. Brian and I did a 45 minute set each of poetry, music and lots of audience participation.
Hoping to do more gigs at The Stables as it was such a success!Explore posts in the same categories: Uncategorized comment below, or link to this permanent URL from your own site.
