Alone with Nature

This series of large linoprints explore quiet moments of solitude experienced alone in wild natural places.  Here’s a little film of the pictures with my song of the same name:

A selection are currently on display at The Crown in Hastings.

They measure approximatly 56cm x 38cm, so fit nicely into a 60 x 8o cm frame. They are lino prints on heavy weight fabriano Rosapina paper.

The prints can be purchased below. These large prints are all hand made and unique- they will vary a little from the pictures. Please email if you have any queries.

These prints are magical. I think you have captured the peace of being alone and thinking. We all need thinking time. I love the train in “Night Sounds” and it makes me recall childhood memories of lying in bed feeling safe and secure but yearning for the excitement of being on that train, where was it going? Growing up I guess. I also love “Quiet Sea” and “Drifting From Shore”, I can think of nothing better than being in a boat with three cats, quietly contemplating. I wish you well with your exhibition.

    Hi there,

Just randomly found your stuff at Leeds Craft Centre and was totally drawn in by it. The whole solitude thing really hits home for me as a countryside lad living in a city. Food for thought perhaps. I bought one of your books (The Rooftop Garden) as a gift for someone ‘cos it’s really fitting to the place their at right now. Keep up the good work.

  10. Hi Ed,
